Jessica Depatie

Jessica Depatie is an Austin, Texas-based speaker, podcaster, and documentary producer. Through her fresh perspective on shadow work, she invites audiences to join her in navigating the complexities of the human experience with compassion, curiosity, and connection.

At the core of Jessica's mission is the concept of introspective journeying as a pathway to unity. Encouraging genuine self-discovery and empathy, she addresses real-world issues like social inequality, cultural clashes, and the impact of technology on our connections to ourselves and others.

With her guiding principle of "foreshadow work," Jessica prompts introspection, challenging personal biases and assumptions to break down barriers, cultivate compassion, and contribute to a more connected world.

Who am I?

I’m a wilderness woman with city mouse roots. A nature lover with a deep appreciation for the natural world. I find joy and inspiration in its beauty, diversity and tranquility.

I’m passionate about outdoor activities like hiking, camping, sailing, hosting wilderness events, and any opportunity to immerse myself in nature’s wonders.

I have an adventurous and exploratory spirit. With a thirst for adventure and exploration, I embrace challenges and find inspiration in unknown places.

I’m fairly self-sufficient and resourceful which helps me navigate through challenging environments.

I’d also consider myself an environmental advocate doing the best I can to live in a way that protects and respects natural habitats, wildlife, and ecosystems.

I love community and camaraderie with open-minded seekers and adventurers who are eager to explore the sense of wonder and curiosity the world without and within provides.
